Mission, Vision & Values
Our MissionTo be a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church being transformed by Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and launched on mission (Acts 1:8).
Our VisionGo from 5% of our attendance to 15% of our attendance baptized by December 31, 2020.
The Gospel transforms lives, so we should see this in our church and community.
Transform into a Multi-ethnic and Multi-cultural Church
We must reflect the diversity of God in ethnicity, culture, gender and class (Revelation 7:9-10).
Transform the Generations
Creating environments and teachings that connect across the generations with a focus towards the transformation and raising up of the younger generation (Deuteronomy 6:1-9).
Transform our Community
We must develop a good reputation with our community and provide strategically for some of the needs of our community in a transformative way.
Empower and Apprentice New Leaders
Creating an environment and structure where new leaders are being transformed, empowered and launched (2 Timothy 2:2).
Launch Four Missional Partnerships on Four Continents
God’s heart is for the world, so we must pray, give, go, and send to the nations (Acts 1:8 & Matthew 28:18-20).
Launch Multiple Services in Potentially Multiple Locations
Anything healthy grows. We believe that God wants to multiply healthy communities of Christ followers (Acts 2:42-47).
Our ValuesLove Deeply
God’s love is unconditional and we strive to experience and live out of this love. Without love all we do is meaningless (1 Corinthians 13 & Luke 10:25-37).
Prayer is first about a relationship with God and second transforming our world. We want to pray in a way that depends on God in all aspects of life (Romans 12:12, Ephesians 6:16, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 1 Timothy 2:1, James 5:16 & Revelation 8:3-4).
We strive to position our lives under the guidance of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, James 1:22-23 & Isaiah 40:8, 55:11).
We have received so much from God and consider it a privileged to give back (2 Corinthians 9:6-8, 1 Timothy 6:18, Malachi 3:10)!
God created culture, and we desire to celebrate all that is good in all cultures and connect culturally with those around us (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).
Plastic smiles and perfect lives are not real. We desire to be a community that is authentic, transparent, and creates space for real relationships (Acts 2:42).
God is the most creative being ever, so creativity should be a part of everything we do (Genesis 1:1).
